Lesson 29
Maybe I’ll go to a Restaurant
***
Translation
I’m really hungry. Maybe I’ll buy a sandwich or maybe I’ll go to a restaurant. Maybe I’ll go back home and prepare something for myself. And maybe I’ll go to my mother’s house and eat there. My mother’s cooking is really delicious.
What do you do when you’re hungry? Which of the above do you do? Don’t you know?
You might not believe it, but Nader doesn’t do any of these things. He lives in a village near to the Caspian Sea. Nader doesn’t pay for food, but finds it in nature. According to him, our surroundings are full of healthy and free food.
Nader is a writer and a teacher. Many people go to his classes and he teaches them how to find food present in nature, like mushrooms, fruit and vegetables and make soups or salads from them.
Nader eats little meat, but is not a vegetarian. For example, he gets fish from the river, or sometimes he hunts and with their meat, he prepares delicious meals. His recipes are in a book and on his website. Of course, his meals seem a bit unusual and different, but they are certainly healthy, fresh and free.
I’m still hungry. Maybe I’ll go to the riverside to catch a fish and fry it right there and eat it.
